In this post, I am going to write
about a few major changes the Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502 needs in order to be a
good phone at the current price.

I am writing this based on my
experience of this phone. I recently bought this phone only to return it since
the GPS was not functioning, after a fairly delayed new piece of phone from
Amazon, I found that the phone still had the “Maps” application dysfunctional.
So, this brings me to the first point:
“Most of the Micromax Android One
Phones have a dysfunctional GPS”- which is a major thing.
Second issue I faced with this
phone is the position of the mic; which is skewed
to the side rather than being at the centre, thus, compelling us to hold the phone
in a particular way.
Third issue is also related to the basic and primary feature of a phone i.e. calling. The shape of the speaker that lets you listen to the calls is round, which did not seem very favorable to me, for someone who is used to the rectangular listening pieces.
Basically, the audio quality of a
call is weak. I am not sure if that is because of the above stated unconventional
design*.
Another negative I have observed with this phone is that at times it mysteriously discharges over the night, no matter the amount of charge in your phone.
All I would suggest that it is definitely
a good phone otherwise because of the continuous updates you receive as the
phone adheres to the “Android One” policies.
Just to add, there are other
phones in the same price range that I have seen people use and that aren’t this
erroneous as Micromax Canvas A1 AQ4502. For instance: Lenovo A6000 plus.
*My Mobile phone operators haven’t
changed since my old phone, so call quality is fine, but the phone speaker
might have issues.
